Bio
I'm 33 and divorced. I don't have any kids of my own, though my fiance has a wonderful 3 year old daughter. I brought two large dogs into the relationship and she has one little one of her own. Between the two of us we have 1 truck, 1 Scion xB, 1 Prius, 1 Jeep, 1 pop-up camper, 1 28-foot enclosed car trailer, 1 motorcycle and 1 racecar. (We need to find a place with room for an outbuilding/barn!) One of my dogs passed away in 2009, which made me very sad.

I work for a firm that manufactures large over-the-road trucks.

I am a big fan of anything powered by an internal combustion engine (translation: I love cars, boats, motorcycles, racing, etc.). I purchased my first racecar late in 2002, turned a few laps during practice sessions in 2003, smacked the wall once and parked it till I paid off some bills. In 2004 I ran at the back of the pack and went to the racetrack 6 or 7 times. I was trying to get a lot of seat time and wasn't so concerned with how I finished in my first year on track. I felt that getting myself into trouble by trying to finish well would just lead to more repair bills and broken parts. No sense going broke my first season! I'm in this for the long haul. In 2005 I hit the track 7 times. My performance at the beginning of the season was less than spectacular, but we traced that to suspension problems. Once we got those sorted out I started working on how to pass people. I got caught up in a few more wrecks that way, but it was a necessary evil. By the end of the season I made a gear change to bring up the RPM. The car ran much better. Unfortunately the motor couldn't handle it and went from a V8 to a V7. I'm taking the 2006 and 2007 seasons off while I save up money to pay off bills and rebuild a better, stronger motor.

I am just a local dirt track racer. I don't have any illusions of ever being famous or driving in a nationwide series or anything like that. It's just a hobby, but one hell of a fun one, at that.

I am a very musically oriented person. I don't remember lyrics - they just don't penetrate my consciousness - but can identify a lot of songs by artist in the first few seconds. I play the drums, the guitar, some piano, some singing.
